Audited Supplier Our high-temperature kapton tape outperforms ordinary tapes in extreme environments. The polyimide film backing and silicone adhesive make this heat resistant tape ideal for applications up to 500°F. With excellent tensile strength, electrical insulation, and chemical resistance, this thin polyimide tape conforms well to irregular surfaces for wrapping wires, sealing hoses, masking in powder coating, and fixing flex print circuits.
The ultra-thin and smooth backing allows for precision wrapping without increasing bulk. The high adhesive tack bonds instantly without seperating over an extremely wide temperature range.
